The Raceday Stewards reviewed the unseat of P Byrnes rider of Bunker Buster, at the first hurdle. Having considered the matter, they were satisfied that his mount jumped right on take off and collided with Michonne, in mid air which caused the unseat and that no further action was warranted.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Michonne (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
K.E Buckley, rider of Liath Mor, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was unruly on the way to post and bucked as the race had started for a few strides.
P.J. Cody, rider of Charles Kickham (GB), trained by Kieran Purcell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped very green throughout.
298B Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland M'dn H'dleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Lirakali (FR), ridden by J.C. Gainford, placed second, and The Captain's Word, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J C Gainford stated that he followed The Captain's Word, back to the running rail after jumping the last hurdle. He further added that his mount had been in front at one point on the run to the line but was out battled. D.J. O' Keeffe stated that he landed left at the back of the last hurdle and on returning to his racing line he was aware of the presence of Lirakali challenging on his inner. He concluded by stating that his mount was passed on the run to the line but fought back hard and in his opinion had won on merit. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings. Furthermore, they were satisfied that no riding offence had occurred and they took no further action.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, T. Power Roche, rider of Ataboymiley, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped green throughout.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Mr D. Doyle, rider of Highland Call, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped green throughout and stayed on in the straight.
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of The Captain's Word, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount landed left at the back of the last hurdle.
298D EBF Pat Walsh Memorial (Mares) H'dleC.M. Quirke, rider of Royal Hollow, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount finished lame.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Royal Hollow trained by Andrew Slattery was lame on its right fore post race.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first two approaches to the starter in this race and having consulted with the IHRB Starter, they were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
D. Robinson, rider of Esticky End, trained by Tom McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the start.
J. Smith, rider of Tara Boe, trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped a hell at the top of the hill. Having reviewed a recording of the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the starter in this race and were satisfied that Fortis Et Liber broke into a canter despite the riders best efforts and that no further action was warranted.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.W. Kennedy rider of Euro Agent, concerning his second approach to the starter to ascertain why he had shouted "no" which caused a false start. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that after the first false start he lost his position when another runner turned in front of him and he alerted the Starter by shouting "no". Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards advised J. Kennedy that calling out to the starter is reserved for riders in difficulty and not for any other reason and asked him to be mindful of this in future.
