C.T. Keane, rider of Profit Surge, trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Independent Expert, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal other than a grazes on both its inside left fore fetlock and the back of its left hind fetlock.

R. Whearty, rider of Wildlife (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Time Whisperer, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, and trained by Liam P Cusack. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. J.A. Heffernan said his instructions were to get his horse travelling and in a comfortable rhythm and see what he can do. He added his horse was green, but ran on well after he had been given a chance. Liam P Cusack confirmed the instructions given adding he was happy with both the ride and the horses performance. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who said post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations from the rider and trainer and took no further action.

A. Browne-Souza, rider of Ravens Can Fly, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Bright Image, trained by C.P.Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slipped slightly at the first bend.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from David Marnane, trainer, following the winning performance of Ballymagreehan (GB) in this race, which appeared to represent an improvement on its previous form. The trainer reported that a positive ride from a good draw is what he attributes the apparent improvment to. Having liaised with the IHRB Handicapper, the Raceday Stewards considered the report and noted the explanation offered.

130E @gowranpark1 On X (Fillies) Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lady Mairen, trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal other than a small skin wound on its outside left fore distal cannon.

130F Family Fun Day June 1st H'cap

B.M. Coen, rider of Miss Gitana, trained by Joseph Anthony Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slipped at the bend past the stands.

A.S. Grant, rider of Good Onya Mate, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Master Sydney, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount nearly fell on the first bend.

S. Foley, rider of Quiz Test, trained by Sean Byrne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that the ground was dangerously slippy.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Eternal Echo, at the request of trainer, David O'Sullivan, and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Sadhbh Tormey, rider of Celtic Druid, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount slipped, stumbled and unseating her after the line.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Eternal Echo, trained by David O'Sullivan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount slipped up independently at the first bend.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Mr. N.P. Lambert (Chairman), Mr. Denis Hickey, Mr. Sean Rafter, Dr. Paddy Molony, Mr. A. Ring.

Following the running of race six the Raceday Stewards met with a delegation of senior riders, the IHRB Clerk of the Course, IHRB Doctor and the Racecourse Manager to inspect the bend past the stands. Having inspected the track the Raceday Stewards, in the interest of safety for both horse and rider, made the decision to abandon the final race.
