The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Themanintheanorak, trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after the second last hurdle involving Grimaud (FR), ridden by Josh Williamson, placed first, and Krabat, ridden by C.M. Quirke, placed second, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

D. Robinson, rider of L'amiral Fromentin (FR), trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped slowly.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, D. Robinson, rider of L'amiral Fromentin (FR), trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very one paced and the others quickened away from him. .

The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.J Gilligan, rider of Lord Rouge (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mount went left to the stable yard and one of his strikes was for corrective measures. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D. J. Gilligan was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended D. J. Gilligan for four racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bally Free, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Bally Free, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.
