The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Contrite (GB), trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, W.J. Lee, rider of Just One Show, trained by Jack Foley, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away, never travelled and got too far back.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Stay Curious, trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Alfred Tennyson, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its hind legs leaving the gates.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Skydance (GB), trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be sore in front post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lemsairbat (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Star Performer, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around when it hit the front.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Minerva, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right up the straight.

W.J. Lee, rider of Skydance (GB), trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident turning into the home straight involving Navy Waters, ridden by W.J. Lee, and Daboya, ridden by Reese Holohan, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Dallas Star (FR), trained by Robson De Aguiar, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung a little bit left up the straight.

W.J. Lee, rider of Navy Waters, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Sea Coral (FR), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped leaving the gates.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Gliondar (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost its left hind shoe and to be sore on its right fore post race.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Gliondar (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left up the straight.

C. Cusack, rider of One Cool County, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left up the straight.

G.P. Halpin, rider of Storm Petrel, trained by Ms.M.McDowall, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

The Raceday Stewards fined Adrian McGuinness, trainer, €65 for failing fit the declared cheek pieces to She's Ideal, prior to entering the parade ring.

P. McGettigan, rider of Thompson Gunner, trained by Cian Hughes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right up the straight.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Gold Dublooms, trained by Eamonn O'Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right out of the gates.

Sadhbh Tormey, rider of Shelbourne Flyer, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount lost its action turning in.

E. D. Delany, trainer of Lohengrin (GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge lost both front shoes in running.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Thegooseiscooked, trained by Gerard Keane, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R. Whearty, rider of Reponse Finale, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Rockbury Lad (GB), trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed W. Joyce, rider of Chapel Island, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach and stated that he had miscounted. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that W. Joyce was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended W. Joyce for two racedays.
