The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately 250 yards from the finish involving Claude Du Val (FR), ridden by S.W. Flanagan, Midfield Magic, ridden by J. Smith, and Newbrook Diamond, ridden by D.J Gilligan. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D J Gilligan stated that his mount has a tendency to hang left so he committed to his intended racing line when at that point Claud Du Val edged in slightly. S W Flanagan stated that his mount angled right on jumping the second last hurdle and felt pressure on his horse's hind quarter which shifted him in slightly. J Smith stated that he maintained his line until his mount followed Claud Du Val in. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

A. Harvey, rider of Diamond Tipp, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by a faller at the second hurdle.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Cian Collins, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Katie Daniels, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Cian Collins stated that the application of a tongue-tie for the first may have brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards noted its content.

S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Hipop De Loire (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and his reins got tangled up.

P. Byrnes, rider of I Started A Joke, trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the first hurdle resulting in his saddle slipping.

Prior to the meeting, the Raceday Stewards approved a request from Clerk of the Course, Mr B Hamilton, to amend the distance of this race to 2 miles 100 yards due to operational reasons.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Leader D'allier (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
