367A BAR 1 Betting Ladies H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss A. L. Fitzgibbon, rider of Binge Worthy, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that she was in breach of the regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Miss A. L. Fitzgibbon was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered her record in this regard (first offence) The Raceday Stewards suspended Miss A. L. Fitzgibbon for three racedays.

Anna McGuinness, rider of Secrecies Of Stone, trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount stopped quickly.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss G. Benson, rider of Where's Frankie, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that she was in breach of the Regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Miss G. Benson was in breach of Regulation 10.3.h (arm above shoulder height) and having considered her record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Miss G. Benson for two racedays.

367C BAR 1 Betting Porterstown H'cap S'chase

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Now Is The Hour, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last fence.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed M. P. Walsh, rider of Better Times Ahead, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that M. P. Walsh was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended M. P. Walsh for two racedays.

367D BAR 1 Betting Royal Bond Novice H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed K. M. Donoghue, rider of The Passing Wife (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that K. M. Donoghue was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended K. M. Donoghue for two racedays.

A. Harvey, rider of Whimsy (GB), trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by the faller at the third last hurdle.

367E BAR 1 Betting Drinmore Novice S'chase

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after the second last fence involving Captain Cody, ridden by H. Cobden, placed third, and Ol Man Dingle, ridden by R.A. Doyle, placed fifth, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. H. Cobden stated that his mount was jumping right and he felt he had the horse to go by when he went down the inner. He added that his mount did not pick up as anticipated. R. A. Doyle stated that he maintained his line but his mount had run his race and rolled around slightly. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found H. Cobden was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended H. Cobden for two race days.

367G BAR 1 Casino H'cap H'dle

At the request of the Raceday Stewards J.W. Kennedy, rider of Bowensonfire (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a mistake at the fourth last and got a fright. He further added that he then met with interference and had to switch around Teed Up before staying on past tired horses.

E. Staples, rider of Puturhandstogether, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by the faller at the last hurdle.

367H BAR 1 Casino (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired from C. M. Hogan, rider of Euro Agent, who was unseated approximately a mile and a half from home. C. M. Hogan stated that his mount stumbled and he was unseated independently of any other horse. Having considered the matter and viewed a recording of the race, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
