The Raceday Stewards granted a request from D. Browne, trainer of West Of Carrig for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Midleton Rare, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined One And Only, trained by Oliver McKiernan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
011C Easter Festival Rated Novice H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sticwiththeprocess (GB), trained by T.M. Walsh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after jumping the third last involving Nelson Muntz, ridden by C.M. Quirke, and Sticwiththeprocess (GB), ridden by M.P. Walsh where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.M. Quirke said he held his line and didn't cause any interference. M.P. Walsh said he went for a gap on the run to the bend but once there was no room he accepted it. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action. Mr. Joe Collins recused himself from this enquiry.
011D Racing Again 24th January M'dn H'dleC. Stone-Walsh, rider of Starski, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped and he pulled up.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, D.J Gilligan stated to the Stewards' Secretaries that he had no comment to make on the running of Agameoftwohalves trained by Gordon Elliott.
011E Bobbyjo Chase Day Feb 21st (M) Mdn H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sound Judgement, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
K.M. Donoghue, rider of Dee's Lady (GB), trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the last but had no more to give.
J.W. Kennedy, rider of Sound Judgement, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung very badly left throughout.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Peter Buchanan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Soldierstown, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that the apparent improvement in form could be as a result of the step up in trip. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the trainers explanation.
011G2 William Hill Challenge Series Hcap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards requested a report from Karl Thornton, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Shanroe Act, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that horse had been off for a long time and had a very good run on his first run back. He further added that he didn't get the run of the race on its last run having got caught down the rail and never travelled due to the significant kickback. Today he made the running and got it easy in front and this is what he attributes the apparent improvement in form to. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards noted the trainers explanation.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that True Destiny (GB) trained by Noel C. Kelly had blood at its left nostril post race possibly due to trauma.

Owing to the low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number five to be omitted from races three, four, five, six, seven and eight.
