007C Tote Always SP Or Better H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards interviewed P. Byrnes, rider of From The Ashes, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. P. Byrnes accepted he was in breach of the regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found P. Byrnes was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his record in this regard (second offence) they suspended him for six racedays.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Verdant Place, trained by Patrick T. Foley, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
007D Tote Dan & Joan Moore Memorial Hcp SchP. Townend, rider of Blood Destiny (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled, made a noise and was pulled up.

007F Irish Stallion Farms EBF Rated Nov. S'chThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Miss Pronunciation, trained by Padraig Roche, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
007G Watch Danny's Diary (P-Am) INH Flat RaceMr P.A. Murphy, rider of Layenda, trained by C.A.Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his stirrup leather broke causing his saddle to slip.
