311B O'Neills.com Irish EBF Beginners S'chaseJ.W Kennedy, rider of Kamikaz Du Plessis (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount tried to run off the track turning in.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kamikaz Du Plessis (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
311C IFM Ltd Supporting Louth GAA H'cap S'chThe Raceday Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that B.W Harvey, rider of Midnight Moonshine, presented to weigh out at 3lbs overweight of which a possible 2lbs was declared. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he was unable to lose the the last pound despite his best efforts. William Harvey, trainer, stated that he was happy to allow the overweight be carried. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed B.W. Harvey to ride Midnight Moonshine and found the rider in breach of Rule of 198(vii)(A) and having considered his clean record in this regard they fined him €150. .
Liam P Cusack, trainer of Arrycan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge didn't handle todays going.
J.W Kennedy, rider of Coffeys Forge, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung and jumped left.
311D Adare Manor Opportunity (M) M'dn H'dleS O'Callaghan, rider of High Notions, trained by Stephen Gerard Carey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the home straight.
P.K Donovan, rider of Miss Guiry, trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green and jumped deliberate.
311E Powerscreen New England H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approaching the last hurdle involving Red Glory, ridden by D.J O'Keeffe, placed second and Paul's Dream, ridden by D.E Mullins, placed first, where it appeared Paul's Dream drifted slightly left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
311F FLC Frank Lynch & Co. H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards requested a report from Andrew McNamara, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Hickeys Hill, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Andrew McNamara stated that a return to the minimum trip of two mile brought about the improvement. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.
311G Deeside Agri (Ladies P-Am) INH Flat RaceAnna McGuinness, rider of Max Goodwin, trained by Miss Evanna McCutcheon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount made a respiratory noise in running.
