The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R. C. Colgan replaced R.P. Cleary on Comfort Line, trained by Adrian McGuinness (Race 2)(Stewards Permission)

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the circumstances where R.P. Cleary was declared to ride Comfort Line, trained by Adrian McGuinness when he was ineligible due to the conditions of the race. R.P. Cleary stated that he had ridden his sixteenth winner of the season the day before the cut off for the race conditions. He stated that he was alerted by his agent after declarations and he contacted HRI who confirmed his ineligibility. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted his explanation and reminded him of his responsibilities under Rule 195.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Ms Claire O'Connell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Roman Harry, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Ms. Claire O'Connell stated that his most recent run had come only six days after his previous run and she felt the twenty eight day gap between runs today helped bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.

L.F. Roche, rider of Battle Borne, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run in the home straight.

369C Irish Stallion Farms EBF Med. Auct. Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident early in the home straight involving Oust (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, Alissam, ridden by J. Kearney, and Iryna's Star, ridden by W. Joyce where it appeared contact was made between several horses. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W. Joyce stated that he felt pressure from his inside and had to sit for a few strides. J.A. Heffernan stated he followed the leader into the straight and felt a little pressure from his inside. J. Kearney stated that his mount shifted right following a lefthand strike of the whip but corrected him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

369F Christmas Party Nights Nursery H'cap

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the bend leaving the back straight involving Wingit, ridden by D. Browne McMonagle, and John La Bear, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, where it appeared Wingit ran short of room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

A.J. Casey, rider of Darwin's Angel, trained by S.M.Duffy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was outpaced throughout.

369G Dundalk Stadium Gift Vouchers H'cap

P. McGettigan, rider of Walhaan, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the final furlong.
