The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Howd'yadoit, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.
Following a report from the IHRB Veterinary Officer Ms Joan Taylor, the Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr Andrew Duff the Authorised Representative of G.M.Lyons, trainer, in relation to his conduct during a post race examination of Howd'yadoit. Evidence was heard from Ms Joan Taylor who stated that when the Raceday Stewards requested that she examine Howd'yadoit, she felt that Mr Andrew Duff interfered with the examination and that she felt intimidated carrying out the examination. Evidence was also heard from Mr Andrew Duff who stated that he had not intentionally interfered with the examination and that it was as a result of not having heard the request from Ms Joan Taylor to continue with the examination. He further stated that he felt he had not been intimidating and was happy to follow instruction. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards using their powers under Rule 14(ii)(b) referred the entire matter onto a Senior Racing Official. Mr. R. Dore recused himself from this enquiry.
193B RACING TV FREE ONE MONTH TRIAL H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Iff In Doubt, trained by Edward Lynam, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kc Bear, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have coughed once when being examined post race.
193C Anglo Printers - Award Winning Print MdnW.M. Lordan, rider of Mr Mercury, trained by J.A. Nash, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
G.F. Carroll, rider of Carry The Dream (GB), trained by W.P.Browne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was keen early on.
193E Fairways Hotel Dundalk Apprentice HcapSadhbh Tormey, rider of Celtic Druid, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount pulled a front shoe off in running.
T. Casey, rider of Chopsticks, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
K.G. Kennedy, rider of Sonny Corleone, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
193G Family Funday Sat. 15th August (F) M'dnR. Whearty, rider of Wheres The Gold, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
