075C O'Flynn Motors Mallow (Mares) M'dn H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kimi De Mai (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
E. Staples, rider of Courtmac Gesture, trained by Colin Motherway, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
075D BAR 1 Betting H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from P.J. Rothwell, trainer of Rockymountainbleu, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with Rule 90(i).
E. Staples, rider of Monbeg Park, trained by Jack Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
P.K. Donovan, rider of Autumn Twist, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled turning in, pulled a front shoe and pulled up.
075E Hibernian Hotel Mallow H'cap H'dleNiall Moore, rider of Jeriko De Baune (FR), trained by Philip Fenton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled on the ground.
P.M. O'Brien, rider of Glenmalure Lady, trained by Ms Claire O'Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered leaving the back straight.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident leaving the back straight involving West Cork Wildway, ridden by Mr A. Burke-Ott, Glenmalure Lady, ridden by P.M. O'Brien, and Sarandon, ridden by R.A. Berry, where it appeared Glenmalure Lady was hampered. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.M. O'Brien stated that West Cork Wildway rolled in on top of his mount and he clipped a heel. R.A. Berry stated that West Cork Wildway rolled in on top of them. Mr A. Burke-Ott stated that his mount made a mistake and he was trying to stay on but ended up rolling in on top of the the two horses. He further added that he accepted responsibility and apologised for his actions. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr A. Burke-Ott was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
075H Amption Ltd. Elec. (P-Am) INH Flat RaceMr M. O'Flynn, rider of Barnahash Prince, trained by Jonathan Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he lost his overgirth.
The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. P. Hassett, that P. Cleary, rider of Lemmy Caution (FR), had weighed in at 1.2lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had a drink after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that P. Cleary was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his clean record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion.
Brian Barry, rider of Airds Moss, trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered interference coming up the straight more than once. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
