The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-
Sean Davis, trainer of Venetian (transport difficulties) - €200292A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn
Shane Foley, rider of Bad Boy Rizz, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around when he hit the front.
Andrew Slattery, rider of Tornado Kiss, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green when in front.
292B Irish Stallion Farms EBF Nursery H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Raphello trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien was found to be lame on its left fore post race.
Dylan Browne McMonagle, rider of Raphello, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left and was lame on pulling up.
Gavin Ryan, rider of Fleur De Rose, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled on leaving the stalls and was short of room one furlong out. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the race and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
292D Mallow H'capAdam Caffrey, rider of I'm Spartacus, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the last two furlongs.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Gavin Cromwell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Ukiyo, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Justin McGovern, authorised representative, for the trainer reported that a return to six furlongs and an ease in the ground today brought about the apparent improvement. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.
292G Port Of Cork H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sujet (GB), trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have given a few coughs on examination.
292H Follow Us On X H'capThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from S.P Davis, trainer of Venetian, for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Veterinary Officer as required under Rule 90(i).
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Jessica O'Gorman, rider of La Tulipe Noire, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that it was a misjudgement on her behalf. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that, Jessica O' Gorman, was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her clean record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended her for two racedays.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Super Over, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
