043C Nire Valley Claiming H'dleJ.G. Gilligan, rider of Villagers Cross, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left on the approach to the second last hurdle.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the run to the second last involving You Done Well, ridden by Brian Barry, Villagers Cross, ridden by J.G. Gilligan, and Halsafari, ridden by B. Hayes where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Brian Barry said he got pressure from the inside. J.G. Gilligan said his mount hung left and he made his best effort to keep him straight. B. Hayes said he received pressure from his inside and was doing his best to keep his mount inside the wing of the hurdle. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that although J.G. Gilligan had caused interference he had also taken reasonable steps to avoid causing the interference so they took no further action.
043D2 Cloneen H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards received a report from the IHRB Veterinary Officer that P.J. Rothwell, trainer of King Bob, had failed to present the passport for his charge when requested to do so. Evidence was heard from the trainer who accepted it was an error on his part and apologised. Having considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that P.J. Rothwell was in breach of Rule 85(i) and having considered his clean record in this regard they issued a fine of €200.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after the start where Comanche Moon, ridden by P. Byrnes, fly leapt forward clipping the heel of Falcon Park, ridden by H.E. Sexton. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
043F Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn H'dleAt the request of the Raceday Stewards, J.J. Slevin, rider of Kaiser De Chanay (FR), trained by Martin Brassil, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost his position at the top of the hill and weakened. .
043G Rosegreen H'cap H'dleL. Quinlan, rider of Toor Idaho, trained by Ms.M.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped and he subsequently pulled up.

Prior to the start of this meeting the I.H.R.B. Clerk of the Course informed the Raceday Stewards that races seven and eight were cancelled on Wednesday afternoon due to the ground conditions.
