The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rocky's Howya, trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its left fore post race.

Kevin Healy, rider of Rocky's Howya, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

S.D. Torrens, rider of It's Buster's Way, trained by Sabrina J. Harty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident coming down the hill second time round involving Friar Hogan, ridden by Alan O'Sullivan, and Jolly Potter (FR), ridden by P.T. Enright, where it appeared there may have been slight contact between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident turning into the home straight involving Friar Hogan, ridden by Alan O'Sullivan, and Depeche Mo, ridden by S. O'Callaghan, where it appeared they both had to sit momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Land Of Punt, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right down the hill.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders' first two approaches to the starter. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

R.J. Condon, rider of Home By The Sea, trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third last.

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting: Mr Nicholas P. Lambert (Chairman), Mr Michael Moloney, Mr Tom Rudd, Mrs Frankie Ward, Mr L. Walsh.

For this meeting the Raceday Stewards suspended the "starting procedures for tape starts" and the IHRB suspended Rule 208 (i) and Rule 209 (i)
