The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Press The Button, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
K.M. Donoghue, rider of Press The Button, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran disappointingly.
182C Street Sweep H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fiver Friday, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
K.M. Donoghue, rider of Fiver Friday, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran disappointingly.
182D Johnny's Race Day (Mares) M'dn H'dleD. King, rider of Jo's Secret, trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last hurdle with a circuit to race.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jo's Secret, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
182E Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards requested a report from P.J. Rothwell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Clever Court, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mr David Nolan, Authorised Representative for the trainer reported that todays early fast pace brought about the improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed S. O'Callaghan, rider of Clever Court, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he misjudged the number of whip uses and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S. O' Callaghan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
A. Balfe, rider of My Policy, trained by Patrick Rooney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the starter in this race and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
182F QuinnBet Bellewstown H'cap H'dleAlan O'Sullivan, rider of Jisco Du Brem (FR), trained by Jonathan Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the first hurdle.
J.W. Kennedy, rider of The Miracle Man, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped into the back of horses at the first hurdle and never travelled thereafter.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident rounding the bottom bend, involving Jisco Du Brem (FR), ridden by Alan O'Sullivan, Radar Ahead (GB), ridden by Sam Ewing, and Mavetherave, ridden by D J Gilligan, where it appeared they came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
182G J.H. McLoughlin Oil INH Flat RaceThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kingside Lady, trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
Mr P.A. King, rider of Rokanako, trained by James Kieran King, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check turning in.
Mr B.T. Stone, rider of Kingside Lady, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met with interference turning in.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the bottom bend involving Dee Bee Zed, ridden by Mr L.P. Shanahan, Rokanako, ridden by Mr P.A. King, and Kingside Lady, ridden by Mr B.T. Stone. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr P A King stated that it became congested on the bend. Mr B T Stone stated that he received pressure from the outside. Mr L P Shanahan stated that he felt pressure from the horses outside him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
