The Raceday Stewards enquired into two incidents in close proximity in the closing stages, the first involving Comfort Line, ridden by Gabriella Hill, and Rockbury Lad (GB), ridden by J.A. Powell, and the second involving Comfort Line, and Glamazon, ridden by S. Foley. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J A Powell stated that he received pressure from his outside and had to take back. S. Foley stated that he was aware of the horse on his inside and as he was maintaining his line he received a bump from behind. Gabriella Hill stated that her horse was leaning inwards and in hindsight she could have been more aware. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards was satisfied Gabriella Hill was in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly in relation to the first incident, and having considered her clean record they suspended her for two racedays. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted in relation to the second incident. Senior rider C.D Hayes accompanied Gabriella Hill in this enquiry.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Tariff, trained by Conor David Maxwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Raceday Stewards held the result and enquired into the start of this race where Smaoineamh Sile, ridden by L.F Roche, exited the stalls without its rider when the race was started. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that his mount reared without warning after the starter had indicated that the gates were about to open and that he stepped off his mount. He further confirmed that he did not have time to alert the Starter that he was in difficulty. Evidence was also heard from the I.H.R.B. Starter, who confirmed the evidence of L.F. Roche and stated that Smaoineamh Sile had reared after he pressed the starting mechanism as the gates were opening. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted and signalled the winner all right.

Ryan where it appeared Plushy, ran short of room momentarily. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. A J Casey stated that he took a slight check after the road crossing as Bel Espoir, drifted towards him. E. E. Ryan stated that on approaching the road crossing his mount ducked inwards.
