The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tiffany Case, trained by Barry Connell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident going to the first hurdle, where it appeared How's Ellie, ridden by B. Hayes, ran around on the approach to the hurdle. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Humble Berkshire, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Raceday Stewards fined Gordon Elliott, trainer, €65 for fitting a tongue strap to First Ascent which had not been declared and ordered its removal.

K.E Buckley, rider of Alfinthesea, trained by E.Buckley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left and pulled up before the last.

G.B. Noonan, rider of Minnatrix, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount, despite being at a standstill, jumped one of the hurdles on the way to the start.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed G.B. Noonan, rider, in relation to his mount jumping a hurdle on the way to the start. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he got his mount pulled up in front of the hurdle but he still jumped it despite his best efforts. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given and took no further action.

H.E. Sexton, rider of Valsorpresa (GB), trained by Richard James Daniels, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried wide at the bottom bend.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the Starter. Having viewed the recording of the start and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the IHRB Clerk of the Scales, Ms. P. Hassett, regarding the fact that S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Ballinvasas Best, failed to present himself to weigh in following a fall after the finish line. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that there was justifiable reasons for such failure as provided for under Rule 230(ii). The Raceday Stewards were also satisfied that S.F. O'Keeffe had weighed out at not less than his proper weight and accordingly confirmed the Judges placings and took no further action.

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Eyeeye (GB), trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident close to the line involving Fiveonefive, ridden by M.P. Walsh, and Eye Contact (GB), ridden by Alan O'Sullivan, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from John Patrick Ryan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Eye Of A Tiger, placed first, as compared with its most recent run at Roscommon on the 8th of June. John Patrick Ryan reported that the drop in trip and light weight today may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations given.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Barry Connell, trainer of Tannery Park, in relation to his charge who was a non runner due to the change of going when there had been no change of going since declaration time. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that his charge would have needed a little bit of an ease in the ground and was in contact with the Clerk of the Course throughout the week but it failed to materialize and with this in mind he withdrew his charge. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted the trainers explanation on this occasion and did not impose a fine.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from W.J.Lanigan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Not So Serious, placed first, as compared with its recent form. W.J.Lanigan reported that the application of first time cheekpieces and a good ride may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

The Raceday Stewards fined David Richard Barry, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared cheekpieces to It's Time Again, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pourquoi Poi, trained by Paul W. Flynn, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Leis Fein, trained by V. T. O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

Mr D. McGill, rider of Srah, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too keen.
