The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pure Sirloin, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed S.W. Flanagan, rider of Mercury Lane, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. S. W. Flanagan accepted he was in breach of R.10.3(g) and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found S. W. Flanagan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and considering his record in this regard they cautioned S. W. Flanagan on this occasion.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Birdie Blitz, trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a few light abrasions but was otherwise post race normal.

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Ballycastle Girl, trained by Jennifer Monaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
