The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Timeless Piece (Change in going) - €200

392B Lismore H'cap

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Ravshan, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

J. Coen, rider of Notturno, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout and ran around when hitting the front.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Bright N Shine, trained by P.F.McEnery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received pressure from his outside.

J.A. Powell, rider of Elsa's Pride, trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Ruler Of The River, trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered in the straight and had to take a check.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Notturno, ridden by J. Coen, placed first, Bright N Shine, ridden by S.T. McCullagh, placed second, and Ruler Of The River, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, unplaced, where it appeared that an incident occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.J.G. Ryan stated that he had room to angle out for a run when he received pressure from his outside. S.T. McCullagh stated that he received pressure from his outside. J. Coen stated that his mount drifted in but felt he did all he could to correct his mount. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J. Coen was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding), and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.

S.D. Bowen, rider of Show No Fear, trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran short of room in the straight, the Raceday Stewards reviewed a recording of the matter and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

392D Copper Coast H'cap

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Tasayad, trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

R. Whearty, rider of Maura's Gift, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

L.F. Roche, rider of Say It So, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

392E West Waterford M'dn

B.M. Coen, rider of Bukhill, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the home bend.

J. Coen, rider of The Last Mardi, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that The Last Mardi trained by Gordon Elliott was lame behind.

392F Gaultier H'cap

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Dubai Clover, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right under pressure.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Walnut Beach, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Enquire Within, trained by F.G. Hand, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount ran off the home bend.
