The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Doyouthinkso (GB), trained by J.P. Flavin, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be injured of his right fore.

J.A. Powell, rider of Humtaza, trained by P.O'Rourke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Agenda (GER), trained by Mrs Lorna Fowler, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Je T'ai Porte, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't handle the track.

S. Foley, rider of Blackpoint, trained by John E. & Thomas Kiely, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't handle the track.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Grizabella, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check at the three furlong pole.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Rachael Blackmore, rider of Kingsofthemidlands (FR), trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that she was caught on heels coming down the hill and took a stumble. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the incident and were satisfied that no action was warranted.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Team Of Firsts (GB), trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered turning in.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Longclaw (USA), trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he took a check at the three furlong pole.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Sunwalk (GB), trained by Seamus Neville, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount acted up in the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident three furlongs from home involving Team Of Firsts (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes,unplaced, Lord Erskine, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, placed first, and Longclaw (USA), ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed third, where it appeared Team Of Firsts was hampered. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, C.D. Hayes stated that he received pressure from his outside at the three furlong pole. G.M. Ryan stated that when Lord Erskine was crossing to the rail he had to check forcing him to hamper Team Of Firsts. Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Lord Erskine, stated that she felt she was clear of horses on her inside when crossing to meet the rail at the three furlong pole. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satified that no further action was warranted. .

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Scalor (FR), trained by Liz Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed L.F. Roche, rider of Appian Way (FR), concerning his use of the whip throughout the final circuit of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. L.F. Roche accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found L.F. Roche was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and following photographic evidence from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer Mr. Andrew Tyrrell that he was also found in breach of R.10.3(f)(excessive force) and considering his record in this regard they suspended him for six racedays.
