McDonogh, placed first, Gaenari, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed second (dead heat), and Tiger Belle, ridden by R.P. Whelan stated that his mount was hanging left and starting to weaken and was not affected in any way. R.L. Moore stated that his mount which was fitted with blinkers was shying away from the horse to his right but this had no affect on his finishing position. D.P. McDonogh stated that his mount shifted left when getting one flick of the whip and ducked from the paddock horse gate before being straightened and in his opinion without causing any interference. G.M. Ryan stated that his mount was quirky by nature and reacted when Son Of Corballis shifted left by over exaggerating when shying away but this had no bearing on her finishing position. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and therefore took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approaching the one furlong marker involving Blackpoint, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, Surviving Murmansk, ridden by Adrian O'Shea, unplaced, and No Hassle, ridden by J.M. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Gloves Off, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr. P.L. Malone, that Adrian O'Shea, rider of Surviving Murmansk loaded his mount unassisted into stall number ten instead of stall number eight. Evidence was heard from the starter and rider concerned. Mr P.L. Malone confirmed his report which was not contested by Adrian O'Shea. He added that the error was rectified. The rider admitted that he knew the rider that he was drawn beside but through human error went into the wrong stall without the assistance of any stalls handler. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Adrian O'Shea was in breach of Rule 208 (iv) by failing to ensure that his mount entered the correct allocated starting stall.
