The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A.P. Heskin replaced P.J. Carberry on Superbolt, trained by A.J.Martin (Race 3)(injured).

387B Tote, Never Beaten By SP H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Tucson Train trained by Thomas Mullins was seen to have blood at both nostrils post race.

387C Tote.ie 3-Y-O M'dn H'dle

N.J. Ryan, rider of Katonah, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr. Gary Bannion, Authorised Representative for William Durkan, trainer of Lope De Light (GB), D.E. Mullins, rider of Lope De Light and Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk Of The Scales Mr. Pat Malone regarding the arrival of the horse into the Parade Ring wearing the incorrect number cloth. Evidence was heard from Mr. Gary Bannion who stated that he was given a number cloth for which he assumed was correct but that he did not check it himself to see. D.E. Mullins stated that he presented himself at scales as normal calling the correct number for his mount but also did not check if connections were holding the correct number cloth. Mr. Pat Malone stated that he weighed D.E. Mullins out at the correct weight but did not check if connections were holding the correct number cloth. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found William Durkan in breach of Rule 199 and having considered his record in this regard they fined him €200.

387E Tote Fantasy H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cafe Con Leche, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be suffering from heat stress post race.
Samples were also taken for analysis.

387F Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident soon after the start involving The Big Cloud, ridden by P.T. Smithers, Keeptellinemnuttin, ridden by Thomas Reilly, and True Companion, ridden by A.M. King where it appeared interference took place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, P.T. Smithers stated that he suffered interference from his outside causing him to clip a heel. Thomas Reilly stated that he suffered interference from his outside causing him to check. A.M. King stated that he manouvered right towards the rail and was unaware he was not clear of horses on his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found A.M. King, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden Carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident leaving the back straight involving Shana Cloon, ridden by P.M. O'Brien, and True Companion, ridden by A.M. King where it appeared an incident may have occured. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, A.M. King stated that he suffered interference and ran short of room on the bend leaving the back straight. P.M. O'Brien stated that he thought he was clear of the horse inside him when moving onto the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found P.M. O'Brien, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden Carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday.

387G ISF EBF (Mares) (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr H.C. Swan, rider of Instant Tendance (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, Mr. H.C. Swan accepted he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr.H.C. Swan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr R.W. Barron, rider of Glendaars Fortune, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, Mr. R.W. Barron accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Mr. R.W. Barron in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his record in this regard they suspended him for eight racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shaving (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
