041A Winning Fair Juvenile H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident between the second last and last hurdles involving Bottler'secret, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed first, Pacini (GB), ridden by Sam Ewing, placed second, and Trustyourinstinct, ridden by S.D. Torrens, placed third, where it appeared Trustyourinstinct had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. W. Flanagan stated that his mount jumped right and he took him back to his racing line. Sam Ewing stated that his mount jumped slightly right and then he went back to the inside line. S. D. Torrens stated that his mount is an awkward ride and when he switched out it over exaggerated the manoeuvre but the riders in front of him were clear of him at the time. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Trustyourinstinct, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped poorly and was a difficult ride.

041B Naas Racecourse Business Club M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pen To Paper (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

041C Nas Na Riogh Novice H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Slip Of The Tongue, trained by Padraig Roche, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kings Halo, trained by James Daniel Dullea, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its near fore post race.

041D Newlands S'chase

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the back of the last involving Ash Tree Meadow (FR), ridden by Sam Ewing, placed fourth, Rebel Gold, ridden by P.T. Enright, placed second, and Espanito Bello (FR), ridden by M.J.M O'Sullivan, placed third, where it appeared there was contact between Ash Tree Meadow and Espanito Bello. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Sam Ewing stated that his mount put in an extra stride and landed a bit flat footed at the back of the fence and moved in slightly. P. T. Enright stated that he moved in but was clear. M. J. M. O'Sullivan stated that the horse on his outer jumped slowly and things got a bit tight at the back of the last fence but he felt it was of little consequence. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

041F Pertemps Network Group H'cap H'dle

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Ladybank (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that things got congested on the point of the bend and she had to take a check. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the IHRB Veterinary Officer, Ms. Joan Taylor concerning a possible breach of Regulation 10 by D. King, rider of Noble Birth. As the Raceday Stewards were unable to interview D. King as he had departed the racecourse the Raceday Stewards referred the matter to the Referrals Committee for consideration under the provisions of Rule 14(ii)b.

041G BetVictor (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Big Dispute, trained by Con McSweeney, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The following Raceday Stewards acted on behalf of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board at this race meeting:

The Raceday Stewards received a complaint in relation to an alleged incident in the stable yard, which occurred after the sixth race. As not all parties were available for interview when the complaint was received the Raceday Stewards referred the matter to a Senior Racing official for consideration under the provisions of Rule 14(ii)b. .
