The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Philip Fenton, trainer of Mister Twist (Declared in error) - €200
Alexander Ott, trainer of Inchidaly Robin (Off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.P.Shinnick replaced Niall Moore on Juke Box (FR), trained by Philip Fenton (Race 1)(Stood down)
P.M. O' Brien replaced D.J Gilligan on Wandering Rocks (GB), trained by William Durkan (Race 1)(Stood down)
R.J. Condon replaced D.J Gilligan on Baltic Bird (GB), trained by William Durkan (Race 2)(Stood down)
C.P. McNamara rode Maughold Head (GB) (reserve) trained by E. McNamara (Race 5)
C.P. Millar replaced D.J Gilligan on The Four Sixes, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(Stood down)

283A John Lynch Memorial M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident between the second last and last hurdle involving Ninth Loch, ridden by P. Townend, placed second, and Smooth Tom, ridden by C.M. Quirke, placed first where it appeared Ninth Loch may have came across onto Smooth Tom's racing line. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. Townend stated that his mount was hanging and did all he could to keep him straight. C.M. Quirke stated that he saw Ninth Loch drifting across and took a precautionary check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, G.B. Noonan, rider of Boxcar Molly, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was keen early on and flattened out.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, S.W. Flanagan, rider of Showman (GB), trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was keen early on and stayed on passed tired horses. .

283D1 Kathleen Walsh Memorial H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Gekkota (FR) trained by T.J. O'Mara was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from E. McNamara, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Millstream Lady, placed first, as compared with its most recent below par form. E. McNamara, trainer, stated that his charge relishes the softer ground as opposed to the good ground she encountered at Killarney most recently. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Indie Belle trained by Robert Widger was lame on her right fore post race.

283D2 Kathleen Walsh Memorial H'cap H'dle

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Mac's Xpress, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the home straight.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Gonetomillgrove, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel in this race. This was subsequently confirmed by the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the closing stages of this race where all horses finished bypassing the last hurdle as instructed and finished on the inner track. Evidence was heard from the I.H.R.B Clerck Of The Course, Mr. P. Moloney who stated that if the last hurdle needed to be bypassed the riders were instructed to follow procedures and finish on the inner track. Having heard the evidence and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards allowed the result to stand and took no further action.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J.G. Gilligan, rider of Mac's Xpress, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was hanging turning in and ran up onto heels.

283E Charlie Chute Memorial H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the fourth last fence involving Upping The Anti, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, and Brideswell Lad, ridden by J.J. Slevin where it appeared Brideswell lad stumbled before the fence. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Rachael Blackmore stated that she maintained a straight line on approach to the fence. J.J. Slevin stated that his mount stumbled independently. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Brideswell Lad trained by Seamus Neville was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

283F John & Terry Moriarty (QR) H'cap S'chase

Mr F. Maguire, rider of Holiday In Kerry, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount finished lame.
