The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

J.P. Murtagh, trainer of Mere Accountant (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A.C. Persse rode Purring Along (reserve) trained by S.M.Duffy (Race 5)
D.W. O'Connor rode Phoenix Open (USA) (reserve) trained by S.M.Duffy (Race 5)
B.M. Coen replaced W.J. Lee on Silken Ladder, trained by Joseph G. Murphy (Race 4)(transport difficulties)

169A Party Time M'dn

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a 2 minute delay to this race.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Prince Of Glamour, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

169B Woodlands House Hotel Adare H'cap

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at around the furlong pole involving Gunsight, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, placed sixth, Sir John Monash (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed second, and Kaydees Magic, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced, where it appeared Gunsight got tight for room and took a check when challenging between horses. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

169C Ryans Cleaning Event Specialists H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at around a furlong and a half from the finish involving Royal Pippen, ridden by E.J. McNamara, placed second, and Gegenpressing (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth, where it appeared both horses came together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. E.J. McNamara said he originally got carried slightly right before angling out to the left for his run and felt the two horses just got tangled up in each other a bit. C.D. Hayes stated his horse was going backwards when receiving very slight interference but it did not effect his run. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Golden Warrior, trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Run The Jewels, trained by Michael McCullagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

169D Limerick Racecourse (Fillies) H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.A. Heffernan, rider of Lady Lunette, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards was satisfied that J.A. Heffernan was in breach of R10.3g by using his whip with excessive frequecy and having considered his record in this regard, they suspended him for 5 racedays.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Operatic Artist, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't get a clear run in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the circumstances surrounding the late arrival of W.J. Lee, the declared rider of Silken Ladder, necessitating a change of rider to B.M. Coen which was allowed by the Raceday Stewards. W.J. Lee stated that he was riding in Ayr earlier in the day and made it back to Prestwick airport in plenty time however the plane was delayed 15 minutes prior to take off. Furthermore the plane had to circle in Shannon before landing which delayed him a further 15 minutes which resulted in him not making his appointment on Silken Ladder. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted W.J. Lee's explanation.

169E Follow Limerick On Twitter H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stay Local, trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Miss Cunning, trained by Aengus King, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't travel after two furlongs.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Golden Freckle, trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered interference early in the straight.

169F Panoramic Restaurant At Limerick M'dn

L.T. McAteer, rider of Boston Bongo, trained by Barry J. Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very keen and hung off the first two bends.

M.M. Monaghan, rider of Rajjnatin, trained by Miss Evanna McCutcheon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a noise at the top of the hill.

169G Private Suites At Limerick Races H'cap

Adam Caffrey, rider of War Correspondent, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slowly away from the stalls.
