The Raceday Stewards received a request from Gordon Elliott, trainer of Jack Du Large (FR), to substitute the nominated rider J. Coen(5), with Sam Ewing, who was declared to ride Big Chou trained by Noel Meade which was withdrawn before the close of card. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards denied the request on this occasion as they were satisfied that because Big Chou was trained by another trainer it did not conform with the provisions of Regulation 3.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Almuhit, trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race, possibly because of kick back.

383C Ballymaloe Relish Beginners S'chase

Owing to low-lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fence number one to be omitted from this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Minella Cocooner, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

383D Jack de Bromhead Christmas H'dle

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Buddy One, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost his action before the last and pulled up.

Paul John Gilligan, trainer of Buddy One, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped wrong post race.

383F Pertemps H'cap H'dle (Qualifier)

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined M C Muldoon, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, P. Townend, rider of M C Muldoon, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.

383G Midland Legal Solicitors INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards advised William Durkan, trainer of Jordann (FR), concerning the conduct of this horse who refused to start. The Raceday Stewards advised William Durkan, that, a repeat of this behaviour may render the horse liable for suspension in the future.
