The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Patrick G.Kelly, trainer of Shotgun Jack (transport difficulties) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr. A. O'Sullivan rode Delta Melody (reserve) trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan (Race 1)

198A Kelly Farm Modernisation M'dn H'dle

M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of Black Bamboo, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the home straight.

198B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Mares) H'dle

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Shannon Glory, trained by Paul Power, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the fourth hurdle.

Sam Ewing, rider of Shesadream, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the fourth last hurdle.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Shannon Glory trained by Paul Power was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

198C Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight on the first circuit involving Harvey's Quay, ridden by A.P. Kelly, and Cozone (GB), ridden by J. Smith where it appeared that Cozone ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence J. Smith stated that he was forced to take a check when the gap closed on the inside between the fourth and fifth hurdle in the back straight. A.P. Kelly stated that he felt he was returning to his racing line on the inside when he felt slight contact from Cozone on his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found A.P. Kelly was in breach of Rule 214 in that they had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed G.B. Noonan, rider of Tory Reel, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. G.B. Noonan accepted that he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found G.B. Noonan was in breach of R.10.3(i)(time to respond) and considering his record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.

198D Ivo O'Sullivan Snr Memorial H'cap H'dle

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Tea It Is, trained by Vincent Carroll, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after the second last hurdle involving Ceanndana, ridden by K.M. Donoghue, placed first, and Tea It Is, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, unplaced, where it appeared interference took place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence S.W. Flanagan stated that his mount was hanging left and he was forced to check from behind Ceanndana after the second last. K.M. Donoghue stated that his mount jumped right at the second last hurdle and he was returning to his racing line on the inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sheephaven Flyer, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

198E Kerry Drain Services H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Given Wings trained by E. McNamara was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

198F James Collins Memorial INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ally Kazoo, trained by S. Curling, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the final furlong involving Can't Resist It (GB), ridden by Mr J.H. Williamson, placed fourth, Dancing Dame, ridden by Mr D. Doyle, placed second, and Easy Peasy, ridden by Mr A.P. Ryan, placed first, where it appeared that Can't Resist It and Dancing Dove came close together in the final one hundred yards. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
