J. Kearney, rider of Loingseoir, trained by M.C. Grassick, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the home straight.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Mark Fahey, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Rhythm King, placed First, as compared with his most recent run when finishing last of nine runners at Fairyhouse. Mark Fahey stated that a return to Gowran where he has form and with the going being described as Heavy, this brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Loingseoir, trained by M.C. Grassick, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.P. Cleary, rider of Expecto, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised on this occasion . Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that R.P. Cleary was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for 8 racedays.

Amy Jo Hayes, rider of Kilworth Kate, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount got tight for room after two furlongs. Having viewed a recording of the race, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Expecto, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he lost his iron in the home straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Malbay Madness, trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

W. Joyce, rider of Rough And Tough, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left out of the starting stalls.

The Raceday Stewards informed Keith Henry Clarke, trainer of Wish Me, that a repeat performance from his charge who refused to race may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Wish Me, trained by Keith Henry Clarke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount refused to race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed S.P. Davis, rider of Ellaat (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied S.P. Davis was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Edge Of My Seat, trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Tasmanian Girl, trained by Aengus King, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout this race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Inchiquin Maid, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that C. Stone-Walsh was in brach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.
