The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

T. P. Harney replaced R.J. Condon on Colleen Danu, trained by P.A.Fahy (Race 4)(Injured).
P. T. Enright replaced R.A. Doyle on What An Ocean, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 4)(Stood down).
D. E. Mullins replaced R.A. Doyle on Art Of Silence, trained by Gerard Keane (Race 5)(Stood down).

305C ONEILLS.COM H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined C'est Quelqu'un (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of C'est Quelqu'un (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

305D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) M'dn H'dle

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Imperial Class, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jinked from the faller at the third last and his saddle slipped.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the circumstances whereby Ballerina Boxer, trained by John. C. McConnell and ridden by B. W. Harvey, had to be resaddled due the wrong number cloth being fitted. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned and the IHRB Clerk of the Scales Mr. P. L. Malone. John C McConnell stated that he thought he had showed the correct number cloth to the Clerk of the Scales but did notice the error upon saddling his charge and immediately moved to rectify the situation. Mr. P. L. Malone stated that he could not be sure if he had seen the correct number when weighing out B. W. Harvey. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to remind both John C. McConnell and Mr. P. L. Malone of their responsibilities in this regard.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Ballybough Aine, trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was pulled up injured.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Anyway (GER), trained by David Kenneth Budds, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, D. King, rider of Dame Rapide, trained by James M. Barrett, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got stopped everywhere he went and got no run.

305G The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction Flat Race

Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of A La Carte, trained by Liz Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left off the home bend.

Mr A. Harvey, rider of Royal Cave, trained by Christopher David Timmons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right.

Mr R.W. Barron, rider of Tankardstown Diva, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very green in the straight.

Mr H.C. Swan, rider of Tomavian, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Royal Cave, ridden by Mr A. Harvey, placed third, and Tankardstown Diva, ridden by Mr R.W. Barron, placed fourth where it appeared Tankardstown Diva moved across to Royal Cave. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. A. Harvey stated that he suffered interference when the other horse came to meet his. Mr. R. W. Barron stated that he moved out for the better ground and thought he was clear of Royal Cave. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. R. W. Barron, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden improperly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for seven racedays.
