The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

K.J. Condon, trainer of Sounds Of Spring (Late withdrawal) - €200

306A Shoda Market Café Irish EBF M'dn

G.M. Ryan, rider of Invention, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Mexican Joe, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

P.A. Harnett, rider of Nobody, trained by Brendan Maurice Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break.

306B Staffordstown Stud Stakes

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Brilliant, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed fifth, Content, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed first, and Dare To Dream (FR), ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed third, where it appeared that slight interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

306C Glenroyal Ladies Trophy (Q.R.) H'cap

Ms P.R. Briselden, rider of Vultan, trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never travelled.

Miss A.B. O'Connor, rider of Beautiful Chaos, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her left stirrup leather broke early in this race.

306E Darley Irish EBF Brigid's Pastures Stks

W.J. Lee, rider of Amazon Lady, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that had to take a check inside the final furlong.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Special Wan, trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped leaving the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Amazon Lady, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fifth, and Special Wan, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed third, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.J. Lee stated that he had to take back when Special Wan moved in towards him. L.T. McAteer stated that his mount was very green and moved left into the path of Amazon Lady. He confirmed that his saddle had slipped leaving the stalls, but felt this had not contributed to the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that L.T. McAteer was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record they suspended him for four racedays.

306F Stephen Quirke Memorial H'cap

J.A. Powell, rider of Tawaazon, trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start of this race where C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Dream Today was unseated after the stalls opened. Having considered the matter and a report furnished by the rider that his mount charged the gates and unseated him as the stalls opened, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Parting Glass, trained by J.A.Stack, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

306G Derek O'Sullivan RACE Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Coins Cross, ridden by P.A. Harnett, unplaced, Sirjack Thomas, ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced, Rio Largo, ridden by J. Cleary, unplaced, and Indigo Five, ridden by H.J. Horgan, placed first, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J. Coen, rider of Lady Arwen (GB), trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check two furlongs from the finish.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Sirjack Thomas, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was hampered two furlongs out.

H.J. Horgan, rider of Indigo Five, trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right inside the last three furlongs.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed H.J. Horgan, rider of Indigo Five, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of R10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that H.J. Horgan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for 9 racedays.
