395A Racing TV Black Friday Offer (M) Mdn Hdl

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. A Ryan, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, that he was unable to positively identify Getaway Erin, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, from the markings contained in the passport presented for this horse and the microchip reader was showing an unnamed 3yo. Evidence was heard from the trainer, who stated that he has two very similar horses in his care and the wrong horse was loaded by a member of his staff this morning leaving Getaway Erin, at home. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Getaway Erin and referred the matter to a Senior Racing Official.

395C Irish National Hunt CLG Beginners Schase

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fence #5 to be omitted in this race.

395D Ireland V Britain (QR) H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss N. Parker, rider of Weihnachts, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted she had breached the whip Regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Miss. N. Parker, was in breach of R 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her record in this regard they suspended her for 3 racedays.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Miss M. O'Sullivan, rider of Broken Ice, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount was ridden towards the rear to get home on todays testing ground.

395E INHSC Supp. Point-To-Points Hunters S'ch

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr M.J. O'Connor, rider of Grange Island, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted he had breached the whip Regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. M.J. O'Connor was in breach of R10.3(h)(arm above shoulder) and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for 2 racedays.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr E. Mahon, rider of Dromleigh, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted he had breached the whip Regulation and apologised . Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. E. Mahon was in breach of R10.3(h)(arm above shoulder) and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for 4 racedays.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after the last fence involving Dromleigh, ridden by Mr E. Mahon, placed third, and Global Assembly (GB), ridden by Mr B. O'Neill, placed second, where it appeared Dromleigh, had to check and switch course. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

395F John Thomas McNamara Series (QR) Hcp Hdl

Mr J.M. Fennell, rider of Vengaboy, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount mad a bad noise after the third last hurdle.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Mr J. Dunne, rider of Papa Barns, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly left in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Breagagh, trained by S. Michael Millar, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Papa Barns, trained by J.T.R.Dreaper, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

395G Fairyhouse P-To-P INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident before the home straight involving D B Cooper, ridden by Mr H.C. Swan, placed second, Jeroboam Machin (FR), ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed first, and Minella Staycation unplaced, ridden by Ms A. Budds where it appeared Minella Staycation ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Ms. A. Budds stated that she was holding her line when she received pressure from her outside. Mr P.W. Mullins stated that he was holding his line when he felt contact from his left. Mr. H.C. Swan stated that his mount rolled in approaching the bend and felt he had did all he could to keep his racing line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. H.C. Swan, was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding), and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays.
