C.M. Quirke, rider of Positive Thinker, trained by Michael J. McDonagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Thedevilscoachman, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

069E McInerney Properties Fairyhouse S'chase

P. Townend, rider of Saint Sam (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was always doing too much.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Saint Sam (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of Espanito Bello (FR), trained by Barry Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

069F BoyleSports Irish Grand National S'chase

The Raceday Stewards received a request from Gordon Elliott, trainer of Cool Survivor, to substitute the nominated rider J.C. Gainford, with C. Stone-Walsh due to J. C. Gainford being stood down yesterday. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Regulaion 3, denied the request on this occasion. Subsequently Gordon Elliott requested J. S. McGarvey as the replacement and this was approved by the Raceday Stewards.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Minella Cocooner, ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed third, and Any Second Now, ridden by M.P. Walsh, placed second, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. E. Mullins stated that there was very marginal contact. M. P. Walsh stated that his mount tired quickly when passing the horse on his inner and he rolled right and there was slight contact. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Yeah Man, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount veered left going to the last.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Hartur D'arc (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got very tired approaching the last.
