The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. P. McDonogh replaced A.J. Slattery on Aucusn, trained by Andrew Slattery (Race 1)(Unwell)
Siobhan Ruthledge replaced A.J. Slattery on Benerville, trained by T.Hogan (Race 2)(Unwell)
B.M. Coen replaced A.J. Slattery on Struck By Churchil (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery (Race 3)(Unwell)

390A Irish EBF Median Sires Series M'dn

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Ms. A. O'Keeffe, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that D. McMonagle, rider of Navassa Island, weighed in at 1.1 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D. McMonagle was in breach of Rule 231(iii) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion.

390B Sycamore Lodge Equine Hospital H'cap

J.A. Powell, rider of Coach Madden, trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left.

390C Ryans Cleaning Irish EBF Med Auct M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after turning for home involving God Knows, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, Lakewood, ridden by C.T. Keane, Fleadhfest, ridden by R.P. Cleary, and New Phenomenon, ridden by S. Foley where it appeared that interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Foley stated that he was aware of horses shifting in front of him and took a precautionary check. C.T. Keane stated that he kept his racing line and did not receive any interference. R.P. Cleary stated that he was going backwards as he received contact from his inside J.A. Heffernan stated that he was aware of a gap on his outside and committed to it. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found that J.A. Heffernan was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident about a furlong from the finish involving God Knows, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, and Lakewood, ridden by C.T. Keane where it appeared contact was made, Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Heffernan stated that his mount was intimidated by the horse in front of him drifting left. C.T. Keane stated that he recieved a little contact from his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident about half a furlong from the finish involving Right Now, ridden by D. McMonagle, Ultra Fine (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, and Neowise (USA), ridden by N.M. Crosse where it appeared that Ulrta Fine had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that he felt there was enough room for him to proceed with his challenge when he got tight for room and had to take a check. D. McMonagle stated that his mount moved slightly left, but that he corrected him straight away. N.M. Crosse stated that his mount jinked right, but he felt he did all he could to keep his mount straight. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

J.A. Powell, rider of Highland Train, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced keenly.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Kadeen, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

C.D Hayes, rider of Ultra Fine, trained by D.K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room at the two furlong pole and had to check.

S. Foley, rider of New Phenomenon, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check in the straight.

390D La Celia Wines H'cap

C.T. Keane, rider of Mr King, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left throughout.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Roaring Gallagher (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the two furlong pole involving Roaring Gallagher (FR), ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, Moonlit Mist, ridden by G.F. Carroll, Free Flow (USA), ridden by G.M. Ryan, and Slieve Binnian, ridden by R.P. Whelan where it appeared that an incident had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.M. Ryan stated that he felt he kept his racing line. G.F. Carroll stated that he marginally shifted off his racing line but did not cause interference. R.P. Whelan stated that he was full of running and went for a gap that was there for him and did not cause interference. C. Stone-Walsh stated that a gap started to close and he continued to ride for it as he thought it might widen. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found that C. Stone-Walsh was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record they suspended him for three racedays.

390E Michael John Kennedy Memorial EBF Stakes

N.G. McCullagh, rider of Getawiggleon (FR), trained by David J. Geary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was a little keen early on.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Maxux, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to check his mount in the closing stages. The Raceday Stewards reviewed this incident and were satisfied that no riding offence had occurred and therefore took no further action.

C.T. Keane, rider of Gozen, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very keen.

D. McMonagle, rider of Red Riding Hood, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right under pressure.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr. J.R. Banahan, that Didn'thavemuchtodo, drawn in stall number two, charged the gates prior to them opening which resulted in her stall opening prematurely. As a result of this a false start was called. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms A. O'Keeffe, regarding the failure of J. Coen, rider of Zileo (GB), placed second, to weigh in after this race as he was being attended to by medical staff in the parade ring. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards allowed the result to stand under the provisions of Rule 230(i) and took no further action.

J.A. Powell, rider of Walking On Glass, trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right under pressure.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Fire Coral (GB), trained by C.W.J. Farrell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

390G Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed W.J. Lee, rider of Bella Blue Eyes, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted it was a misjudgement on his behalf and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that W.J. Lee was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for four racedays.

J.A. Powell, rider of Helpmeout, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount edged right under pressure.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Artemis Jones, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Raceday Stewards granted permission for all runners to parade and be mounted in the pre-parade ring in order to accommodate medical assistance to an individual.
