337A1 Paddy Power Horse's Mouth M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, B. Hayes, rider of One Big Boum, trained by Philip Fenton, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran keen early, was green at his hurdles missing the third last and the last hurdle and just galloped away home.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J.S. McGarvey, rider of Pride Of Place, trained by Michael Hourigan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount missed the last hurdle after just staying on in the home straight.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, R. Deegan, rider of Phoebe's Charm, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very keen early on in the race and after giving her a chance she ran on in the home straight.

The Raceday Stewards fined N.T. Prendargast €200 for failing to present to the scales to weigh out as required under the provisions of Rule 196(i).

M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of Meidhreach, trained by N.Stokes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped very big.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Premier Queen, trained by Mrs Prunella Dobbs, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got jumped into at the first hurdle.

337C Paddy Power (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Abi's Champ trained by W.P. Mullins was lame on her right fore post race.

P. Townend, rider of Abi's Champ, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he dismounted his mount after the line as she had finished lame.

G.B. Noonan, rider of Calendar House, trained by Joseph Hennessy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung and jumped right.

337D Paddy Power Irish EBF Novice H'dle

M.M. McDonagh, rider of The Shantou King, trained by Aengus King, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount displaced his palate and was pulled up.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Ms. A O'Keeffe, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr R.W. Barron, rider of Desert Heather, weighed in at 1.3 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that it was potentially kickback that had contributed to the overweight. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. R.W. Barron was in breach of Rule 231(iii) and having considering his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

337E Paddy Power Irish EBF Novice S'chase

Vincent Laurence Halley, trainer of Senecia, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge had scoped clean post race.

337G Buy Tickets H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Ms. A. O'Keeffe, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that K.M. Donoghue, rider of Money Heist, weighed in at 1.1 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that in his opinion an accumulation of kickback may have contributed to the overweight. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that rider K.M. Donoghue was in breach of Rule 231(iii) and in considering his record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays. Mr. Patrick Dowling did not attend this enquiry.
