The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer of May Night (GB) (Late withdrawal) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.D. Hayes replaced A.J. Slattery on Mastastroque, trained by J.A.Stack (Race 1)(Injured)
W.J. Lee replaced A.J. Slattery on Killeaney Bear, trained by Andrew Slattery (Race 4)(Injured)
G.M. Ryan replaced A.J. Slattery on Louiescall, trained by David Harry Kelly (Race 6)(Injured)

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Hugh Paul Finegan, trainer of Mads Black Eights, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Dragon Roll trained by Eamonn O'Connell was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Mads Black Eights, trained by Hugh Paul Finegan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped slowly from the stalls.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Dragon Roll, trained by Eamonn O'Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount came off the bridle and was eased.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, O. McSweeney, rider of Notforalongtime (GB), trained by Laura Hourigan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not handle the ground and failed to pick up when asked.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Joupe, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, unplaced, and Star Kissed, ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, where it appeared that contact was made between both runners. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Thunder Roll, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed first, Sumiha, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed second, and Trevaunance, ridden by S. Foley, placed third, where it appeared that contact was made between Sumiha and Trevaunance. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Foley stated that Thunder Roll had drifted slightly left after Sumiha had committed to filling a gap causing her to race towards his mount where minor interference had occurred. C.D. Hayes stated that he had committed to a gap when it closed slightly causing him to brush off Trevaunance. D. McMonagle stated that his mount stepped left for a stride and changed legs but was corrected immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Starry Heavens, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room turning for home.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Jurality (GB), trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran free.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Paul W. Flynn, trainer, following the winning performance of Solar Drive in this race, which appeared to represent an improvement on its previous runs. The trainer reported that an extended trip on more favourable ground conditions appeared to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having liaised with the Senior Rules Of Racing Handicapper, the Raceday Stewards considered the report and noted the explanation offered.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, R.C. Colgan, rider of Winning Smut, trained by Michael Hourigan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was one paced and failed to quicken when asked.

D. McMonagle, rider of Aztec Sun, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.
