The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

M.J. Tynan, trainer of Empress Cotoh (Off Feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S.T. Rutledge rode Nancy Angel (reserve) trained by John C. McConnell (Race 3)
D.M. Simmonson rode Takana (reserve) trained by James Andrew Fahey (Race 5)
J.M. Sheridan rode Boston Bongo (reserve) trained by Barry J. Fitzgerald (Race 7)
R.C. Colgan rode Chilean (GB) (reserve) trained by Luke Comer (Race 7)

291A Lougher Stables Nursery H'cap

M.W Hassett, rider of Sun Never Sets (USA), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped.

291B Ratoathvets.ie (Fillies) M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Perseids (USA), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards informed Eddie & Patrick Harty, trainer that Catwalk Couture, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from G.M.Lyons, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Dumb Love, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Shane Lyons, Authorised Representative for G.M. Lyons, Trainer, stated that the first time application of blinkers contributed to the apparent improvement in form today. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

291C Bluegrass Horse Feeds H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bright Dick, trained by Luke Comer, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

291D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Speckled Meadow, trained by Don Browne, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost a right fore shoe but was otherwise post race normal.

291E Goodenuftoeat Event Catering H'cap

R.P. Cleary, rider of Step Back In Time, trained by Christopher David Timmons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the early stages of this race.

R.M Mulligan, rider of Art Of Unity (GB), trained by Muredach Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost a shoe during the race.

291F Kilsaran Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Star Harbour, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. C.J. MacRedmond accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found C.J. MacRedmond in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

T.G.McCourt, trainer of Charming Star, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge lost a shoe during this race.

291G Mary Rogers Memorial H'cap

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Snowhaven, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very keen .

L.F. Roche, rider of Baron Wild, trained by Denis W. Cullen, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the home straight.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Boston Bongo, trained by Barry J. Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green in the home straight.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident inside the final furlong involving Enquire Within, ridden by W. Joyce, placed second, and Contrapposto, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Prior to the meeting, the Raceday Stewards approved a request from Clerk of the Course, Mr. Lorcan Wyer, to amend the distance of Races 1 to 4 to 7 Furlongs and 142 yards because of ground conditions.
