The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.F.Cawley replaced G.N. Fox on Dedoctorsdaughter, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan (Race 4)(injured)
J.S.McGarvey replaced G.N. Fox on Rory's Brother, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan (Race 5)(injured)
J.J.Burke replaced G.N. Fox on Express Du Berlais (FR), trained by C.A.Murphy (Race 6)(injured).

Ms Margaret Mullins, trainer of B L Swagger, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Wednesday 6th August that the saddle slipped during the race.

The Stewards interviewed M.P. Walsh, rider of Kinneagh Cross, concerning his use of the whip in this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(f) and 10.4 in that he used the whip with excessive frequency, while failing to give his mount time to respond and having considered his record, suspended him for one race day.

Noel Lawlor, trainer of Jack The Hat, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge lost a shoe in running.

F.G. Hand, trainer of Bank The Bucks, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped badly post race.

194C Littlewoods Ire Day Tomorrow Hcap Hdle

Aidan F. Fogarty, trainer of Lucky Pigeon, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Tuesday, 29th July, that his charge was found to be in season post race.

194D Easyfix Rubber Products (Mares) Beg S'ch

D.N. Russell, rider of Killtilane Rose, trained by W. Harney, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was hampered in running and pulled up.

194F Saltees Islands H'cap S'chase

S.A. Shortall, rider of Pestal And Mortar, trained by F.G. Hand, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake, lost action and pulled up.

D.N. Russell, rider of Fourth Class, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount finished lame.

194G Acquired Brain Injury (M) INH Flat Race

The Stewards fined James M. Barcoe, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Allez Encore, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
