The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

051A Wexford Racecourse Supp Club M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined David Harry Kelly, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Minnie The Moocher (GB), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference from the turn into the straight involving Alterno, ridden by M.P. Fogarty, placed first and Tagg's Island, ridden by L.P. Dempsey, placed second. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and deemed any interference to be accidental.

051B Join The Supporters Club Today M'dn Hdle

P.T. Enright, rider of Heron Heights, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right in running.

051C St. Patrick's Day Novice H'cap H'dle

P.F. Mangan, rider of Grey Mountain Mist trained by Niall Moran, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

Niall Moran, trainer of Grey Mountain Mist, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was struck into in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Grey Mountain Mist trained by Niall Moran had a cut hind fetlock post race.

051E Arctic Tack Stud Veterans H'cap S'chase

The Stewards requested a report from Robert Hennessey, representing Ms. Sandra Hughes, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Canaly, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative reported that the horse disappointed on his last start when failing to handle the testing ground. He added that today's drying conditions helped his charge return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

051F Christy Lynch Memorial Nov.H'cap S'chase

Owing to the position of the sun, the Stewards granted permission for fence number six to be omitted.

051G Wexford (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

Liam Kenny, trainer of A Rated, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Friday 18th March that his charge scoped dirty following this race.
