The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.M. Coen replaced A.J. Slattery on Mount Ruapehu, trained by J.F.Grogan (Race 3)(unwell).
G.M. Ryan replaced A.J. Slattery on Blue News (USA), trained by Andrew Slattery (Race 6)(unwell).

224A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Maggie McGrath, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Double Jabbed (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount went right in the closing stages despite his best efforts.

224B Tipperary Town Race

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a two minute delay to this race.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. A. O'Keeffe, that S.D. Bowen, rider of Realtin Fantasy, had weighed in at 1.4 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S.D. Bowen was in breach of Rule 231(iii) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion.

224D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the home straight involving Grand Citadel, ridden by R.P. Whelan, unplaced and Our Queen Bee, ridden by C.D. Maxwell, unplaced where it appeared that Grand Citadel hung right and collided with Our Queen Bee at the rear of the field. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no riding offence had occurred and therefore took no further action.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Grand Citadel, trained by Michael Patrick Fenton, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right in the home straight causing interference.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Our Queen Bee, trained by Philip M. Byrne, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount met with interference in the straight.

224G GAIN The Advantage Series (Ladies) H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Chatterbox, ridden by Ms L.B. Mellerick, unplaced, Summer Fly (FR), ridden by Amy Jo Hayes, placed fourth, and White Strand, ridden by Miss L. Costello, unplaced, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Ms. L.B. Mellerick stated that she was having her first ride on the Racecourse and had misjudged the situation and apologised for causing the incident. Amy Jo Hayes stated that she suffered minor interference from her outside. Miss L. Costello stated that she suffered interference from her inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Ms. L.B. Mellerick was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered her clean record they cautioned her on this occasion.
