223A Clayton Hotel Claiming H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Bigz Belief, ridden by J. Smith, Desert Friend, ridden by D. King, and Wajaaha, ridden by L.A. McKenna where it appeared Wajaaha had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. L.A. McKenna stated that he felt there was a gap down the rail before having to take a check back. J. Smith stated that he received a little pressure from his outside and moved in slightly. D. King stated that he maintained his racing line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

223B Martin Reilly Hyundai (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Coole Cherry, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

223D Apex Controls Ltd H'cap H'dle

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Downtherefordancin (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a few mistakes.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Magnetic North, trained by James McAuley, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Rachael Blackmore, rider of Magnetic North, trained by James McAuley, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount stopped quickly.

223G ISF EBF (Mares) (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

S. O'Callaghan, rider of Next Question, trained by T.M. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped forward.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately three and a half furlongs from the finish involving Adela Icon, ridden by Mr A.P. Ryan, I Am Shadow, ridden by Mr H.C. Swan, and Sleep Sound, ridden by E.A. Fitzgerald where it appeared horses got tight for room on the bend. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. A.P. Ryan stated that he followed French Milan when he got pressure from both sides and got shuffled back. Mr. H.C. Swan stated that he had dropped his mare out, when they get racing he keeps his racing line. E.A. Fitzgerald stated that he was following Mount Sinai, his mare was a little green but he keeps his racing line outside Mount Sinai when he got pressure from his outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that any interference which occurred was accidental and they took no further action.
