The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

008A Sky Bet Moscow Flyer Novice H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on approach to the last hurdle involving Jigoro (FR), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, and Mystical Power, ridden by M.P. Walsh, where it appeared Mystical Power crossed over onto the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

008B Sky Bet Acca Freeze M'dn Hdle

M.J.M. O'Sullivan, rider of Gabriel Ranger, trained by Joseph G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung violently right.

M.J. Molloy, rider of University Of Life (GB), trained by H. Smyth, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very green.

008C Sky Bet Request A Bet (Mares) H'cap Hdle

Owing to low sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdles four and five to be omitted from this race.

K. Callaghan, rider of Courting Vickie, trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount became tired.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, M.P. O'Connor, rider of Whotookthebiscuit, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount became tight for room down the rail. Having reviewed the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

008D Betting Better With Sky Bet Novice Scha

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Imagine (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

008E Total Event Rental Beginners S'chase

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after the third last fence involving Atacanter, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, Brucejack, ridden by M.J.M. O'Sullivan, Marronstown, ridden by B.W. Harvey, Pictures Of Home (GB), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, and Kates Hill, ridden by D. Meyler where it appeared horses became tight for room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.J. O'Keeffe stated that he followed Mr. Walsh and did not feel any interference. M.J.M. O'Sullivan stated that he winged the third last and landed half a length up, it was tight but he kept his racing line and did not make any sharp manoeuvre. B.W. Harvey stated he missed the third last, it became tight and he was pushed out of it. J.W. Kennedy stated that he followed Mr. Harvey down to the fence when his own horse jinked in behind Mr. O'Keeffe's horse and it became tight. D. Meyler stated that he missed the third last and Mr. O'Sullivan landed half a length in front of him and there was contact from the outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found M.J.M. O'Sullivan in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one race day.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the last fence involving Atacanter, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe and Rolly Bowley Boy, ridden by E. Walsh where it appeared Rolly Bowley Boy became tight for room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. E. Walsh stated that on approach to the fence he was keeping his line when Mr. O'Keeffe's horse became tired and jumped to his right. There was slight contact and he was tight for room. D.J. O'Keeffe stated that on approach to the last his mount became tired quickly and slowed down, he was not meeting it on a good stride, he felt contact at the fence but left room on his inner after the last. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to advise D.J. O'Keeffe to ride with more awareness in future.

008F Sky Bet Amateur National (QR) H'cap S'ch

Mr S. Connor, rider of The Flier Begley, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount flipped his palette.
