The Stewards enquired into an incident between the final two hurdles involving Brand Ambassador, ridden by B.J. Geraghty, Mclaren Vale, ridden by I.J. McCarthy, Mine Now, ridden by Mr R. Deegan, Myles Ahead, ridden by Andrew J.McNamara, and Vision Du Coeur (FR), ridden by R.M. Power, where Mine Now came down. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. R. Deegan stated that he thought he had more horse under him than he had. He landed into a horse in front of him after jumping the second last and his mount caught a heel and came down. He felt in hindsight he perhaps could have switched to the outside to avoid a collision. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards deemed the incident to be caused by general bunching and took no further action.
