The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer of Karaoke (Off-Feed) - €200
M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer of Red Letter Bray (Off-Feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Siobhan Rutledge rode Miss Langmore (reserve) trained by John C. McConnell (Race 7)

184A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

G.F. Carroll, rider of Clarita, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount moved left after he applied his whip and was immediately corrected.

S. Foley, rider of Heavenly Being, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount shied from the horse on his outside.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Oak Allye, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he took a precautionary check, but felt it was of little consequence. The Raceday Stewards reviewed this incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

184B Irish EBF Median Sires Series Race

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a one minute delay to this race.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident early in this race involving Zelosa, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced and Au Lait, ridden by N.M. Crosse, unplaced, where it appeared that Au Lait ran short of room close to the rail and had to severely check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.M. Crosse stated that Zelosa was hanging badly despite the riders best efforts causing him to run short of room. He further stated that R.C. Colgan shouted to tell him he was in difficulty. R.C. Colgan stated that his mount hung badly left throughout the race despite his best efforts. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no riding offence had occurred and therefore took no further action.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Zelosa, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout and caused interference as a result of this.

184C Rushe's SuperValu Apprentice H'cap

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a one minute delay to this race

J. Cleary, rider of Tammany Hall, trained by Patrick J. McKenna, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was reluctant to go to the start.

184D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sioux Spirit, trained by K.J. Condon, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

184E Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Raceday Stewards interviewed K.K. Hennessy, rider of Henry Adams, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip excessively and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that K.K. Hennessy was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for four racedays.

184F TRM Supplements - Power Your Perf. Race

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, B.M. Coen, rider of Go Sioux Me, trained by J.A. Nash, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was difficult to settle early on before tracking the runners in front of him in the home straight. He further added that a gap did not appear until the last 100yards for him to challenge. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards noted its content. Go Sioux Me was subsequently examined by the IHRB Veterinary Officer at the request of the Raceday Stewards and found to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

184G Care At Home Services H'cap

B.M. Coen, rider of Givemefive, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got very tight for room on the first bend.

C.T. Keane, rider of Katonah, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run late on.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Get Set Jet (GB), trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run late on.

R. Whearty, rider of Ahsuruknowurself, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he lost an iron when leaving the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from J. S. Bolger trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Slaney Tide, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mr. Ger Flynn, Authorised Reperesentative for J.S. Bolger, stated that both today's better ground and a good positive front running ride helped to contribute to the improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation.

The Raceday Stewards enquired from Jessica O'Gorman rider of the Tasmanian Girl, who fell on the flat rounding the first bend. The rider reported that the runners in front of her steadied at this point in the race and she clipped a heel. This was confirmed by riders J.A. Powell, R.P. Cleary, B. M. Coen and L.F. Roche. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied with the report furnished by Ms. O'Gorman and did not apportion blame to any rider for the incident
