The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

D.J. Bunyan, trainer of Cursory Exam (GB) (Off Feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. McMonagle rode Different Look (FR) (reserve) trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue (Race 5)
Sorcha Woods rode Almost An Angel (GB) (reserve) trained by J.Larkin (Race 6)

248B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the final furlong involving Bonbon, ridden by M.W Hassett, placed fifth, and Vivienda (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed third, where it appeared that an incident may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, C.T. Keane stated that Bonbon drifted left towards him forcing him to switch his racing line but that minimal contact was made between both horses. M.W. Hassett stated that his filly got a little unbalanced, but he felt he corrected her. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied to take no further action.

J. Kearney, rider of Edella, trained by Liam McAteer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

248C Irish EBF Auction Series M'dn

D.N. Curran, rider of Valentino Express, trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Mapa (CAN), trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very slowly away from the stalls.

248E Starman At Tally-Ho H'cap

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Zig Zag Zyggy, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right from the stalls and hung right throughout.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Ceres Ring (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check two furlongs from the finish.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Universally, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed second, Sense Of Security (GB), ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced, Giocoso, ridden by C. Horgan, unplaced, and Ceres Ring (GB), ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced, where it appeared that D.P. McDonogh had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, D.P. McDonogh stated that he had to take a check as Universally came across from his left. R.C. Colgan stated that Universally was clear of him as he manoeuvered right. C. Horgan stated that he was clear of any trouble behind him. C.D. Hayes stated that he manoeuvered out to his right for some clear racing room and didn't realise he wasn't fully clear of Ceres Ring. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found that C.D. Hayes, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

248F Hartes Group Apprentice H'cap

J. Coen, rider of My Minervina, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

S.D. Bowen, rider of Out On Friday, trained by Philip M. Byrne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

J. Kearney, rider of Caulaincourt, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned slightly right inside the final furlong.

A.C. Persse, rider of Apprentice, trained by M.A.Cahill, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

248G TRM Speedxcell Tonic H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Matt Connor, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
