R. Whearty, rider of Sinbad My Dad, trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left in the straight.

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Run The Jewels, trained by Michael McCullagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

280C Behans Horsehoe Bar, Rest. & Townh. M'dn

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J. Cleary, rider of Water Nymph, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J. Cleary was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) frequency and having considered his record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion.

B.M. Coen, rider of Sevensees (GB), trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no run in the straight. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Sectarius, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

280D Tote Ireland H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the home bend involving Comfort Line, ridden by Adam Caffrey, Bridge Of Dawn, ridden by L.T. McAteer, Eloquent Arthur (GB), ridden by J.M. Sheridan, Simply Sideways, ridden by S.D. Bowen, and Duke Of Leggagh, ridden by G.F. Carroll where it appeared it became tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.F. Carroll stated he had to check slightly after receiving pressure from his outside. L.T. McAteer stated that he received pressure from his inside and had to check. J.M. Sheridan stated that when he started to manoeuvre out, he felt he had plenty of room. S.D. Bowen stated that he edged slightly left turning in but felt he was clear. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J.M. Sheridan in breach of Rule 214(careless riding) and having considered his record in this regard, they suspended him for 4 Racedays.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Bridge Of Dawn, trained by J.S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered turning for home.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Eloquent Arthur (GB), trained by Adrian Brendan Joyce, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked left turning in.

280E Kevin McManus Bookmaker H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Right Now, ridden by J.J. Slevin, placed sixth, and Kitty McFee, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed fourth, where it appeared Right now ran out of racing room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, In his evidence, J.J. Slevin stated that he was only getting going when he ran short of room against the running rail. R.P. Whelan stated that his mount was tiring when he received contact from behind. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while interference had occurred no riding offence had taken place and made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Siouxanne, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount finished lame.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Rough And Tough, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the closing stages.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Blenheim Lad, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered turning in and had to check. Having viewed a recording of the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied no further action was warranted.

280F Listowel Printing Works H'cap

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined No Niki No, trained by Eoghan Joseph O'Neill, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Oriole (GB), trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

R.P. Whelan, rider of San Martino, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

280G MAC Fuels & General Supplies M'dn

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.T. Keane, rider of Hey Whatever, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that C.T. Keane was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) (frequency) and having considered his record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Acquest, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.

280H Treo Eile Retraining Racehorses H'cap

R.P. Whelan, rider of Zileo (GB), trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was on and off the bridle.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Rain (GER), trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to check in the straight.
