Colgan, stated that his instructions were to settle his mount in around sixth position, get his mount jumping and to do the best he could. He stated that his mount travelled and jumped well tracking the favourite, until the pace quickened up down the back and his mount was unable to go with the leaders. He added that his mount tired in the straight before filling his lungs again and staying on in the closing stages. Andrew Lynch, stated that his charge had been off the track for two years and was as fit as he could have him for today's run. He confirmed the instructions given and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. He further added that his charge would appreciate faster ground. The Stewards also received a report from the Turf Club Veterinary Officer who stated that Jarob (GB) was found to be post race normal.
