The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A. P. Kelly replaced Mr H.D. Dunne on Stuntman Steve, trained by L. Byrne (Race 7)(Stewards Permission)
J. S. McGarvey replaced Sam Ewing on Clodders Dream (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 1)(Injured)

063B Tote (Mares) H'dle

S. O'Callaghan, rider of Scenic Look, trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't travel early on in the race.

063C Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards fined Edward Cawley, trainer €65 for failing to fit the declared cheekpieces to Chosen Diamond prior to entering the parade ring and ordered them to be fitted.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.M. King, rider of Rovetta (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. A.M. King accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that A.M. King was in breach of R.10.3(b) and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

063E Limerick Racecourse On Social H'cap S'ch

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after turning in involving Take All, ridden by J.S. McGarvey, placed second, and Happy Dreams (FR), ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe where it appeared Take All had come off a straight line and may have interfered with Happy Dreams. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. F. O'Keeffe stated that he had followed the leader who had jumped left throughout and he had hoped that on jumping the second last he would fill the gap on the leaders inside. J. S. McGarvey stated that his mount was not an easy ride and that he was trying to ensure that any challenge to him was going to come from his outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

063G Kevin McManus Champion (P-Am) Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the circumstances surrounding the request for a change of rider on Stuntman Steve in the Kevin McManus Bookmaker Champion (Pro/Am) Flat Race. Ms Sarah Byrne, Authorised Rep for L. Byrne stated that she was informed by Mr H.D.Dunne yesterday morning that he could not make todays weight and requested for the change of rider to A.P. Kelly. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed the rider substitution and referred the matter onto the Referrals committee.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr P.J. O'Neill, rider of Khewilltu, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Mr. P. J. O'Neill accepted he was in breach of R.10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. P. J. O'Neill was in breach of R.10.3(b) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion.

Mr F. Maguire, rider of Cappucino, trained by Liz Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he dropped his whip during the final furlong.
