The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L T. McAteer rode Pulse Of Shanghai (reserve) trained by James McAuley (Race 4)
M. P. Sheehy rode Rival Queen (reserve) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 5)

156A SP Or Better Guaranteed Claiming Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the final furlong involving Bringsty (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second, and Theresathought, ridden by J. Cleary, placed fourth, where it appeared they came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. Cleary stated that his mount did drift slightly left under a left-hand drive but that no contact was made. C.T. Keane stated that his horse quickened well down the outside but changed leads and shifted slightly right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

156B Tote Fantasy Who's In Your Stable? H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Hialeah, trained by Charles Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check a furlong down. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage of this race and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

156C Irish EBF Median Sires Series (F) Mdn

C.D. Hayes, rider of Profit Refused, trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount recieved interference from two two horses in the home straight.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Spicy Water, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Profit Refused, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed third, Snellen, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed first, and Spicy Water, ridden by N.M. Crosse, placed fourth, where it appeared interference took place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount was intimidated by the hanging Spicy Water and on passing her he was then hampered by the winner causing him to check. N.M. Crosse stated that his mount proved a difficult ride hanging left throughout. G.F. Carroll stated that he followed the leader throughout and on challenging her on his inside his mount began to hang left and follow Spicy Water left across the track despite his best efforts to correct her. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action. Mr. J. Martin-Smith recused himself from this enquiry.

156D Tote Never Beaten By SP H'cap

Due to operational reasons the Raceday Stewards granted permission for this race to be started by flag.
