227A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Nursery

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Red Haired Mary, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced , Soebroto, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed fifth and Quick Sketch, ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced . Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action.

The Stewards spoke with J.F.O'Shea, trainer of Quick Sketch, concerning the conduct of his horse in this race. The Stewards advised J.F.O'Shea, that, a repeat performance may render his charge liable to a suspension.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Quick Sketch, at the request of trainer, J.F.O'Shea, and reported the animal to be post race normal.

227B Easy Clean Limited Rated Race

The Stewards requested a report from J. S. Bolger, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Fiscal Focus, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative reported that the horse disappointed on his last two starts and was subsequently given a break and freshened up. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

K.J. Manning, rider of All The Aces, trained by E.M. Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount refused to race.

The Stewards spoke with E.M. Hogan, trainer of All The Aces, concerning the conduct of this horse who refused to race. The Stewards advised E.M. Hogan, that, a repeat performance may render his charge liable to a suspension.

227F Free Racing Post Mobile App H'cap H'dle

The Stewards received a report from Mr. P.L.Malone , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that D.N. Russell , rider of Queen Alphabet , weighed in at 1.6 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D.N.Russell was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore suspended him for one race day.

227G Martinstown Opportunity H'cap H'dle

J.S. McGarvey, rider of One Fine Morning (GB), trained by Ronald O'Leary, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was hampered by a faller and never got into contention thereafter.

J.M. Moore, rider of Couleur De La Loi, trained by Michael G. Cleary, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount suffered interference leaving the back straight.

A. Ring, rider of Jonathan Wild, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount suffered interference leaving the back straight.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined One Fine Morning (GB), trained by Ronald O'Leary, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
